Energy and demand, priced separately, because demand charges are often 30 to 40% of an industrial bill and they are set by minutes, not months.

The arithmetic is finished and tested. This calculator stays dark until the published rate constants it depends on are confirmed, because a calculator running on a guessed tariff is worse than no calculator.

Where these numbers come from

This section will contain

  • electricity.blendedRate — 0.12 $/kWh. [TOM-REVIEW] Ontario Class B blended rate as used in Quantify's own teleprompter ('6,000 hours a year at $0.12/kWh') and concept footnotes. VERIFY against the current IESO/OEB Class B blended rate.
