Terms of use
Short version: everything here is published in good faith, the numbers show their sources, the estimates are estimates, and the demo dashboard is fiction. The longer version follows.

1 · Using this site
You are welcome to read, quote and link to anything here. If you quote a figure, please carry its source with it — every published number on this site names where it came from, and a number separated from its source is how misinformation starts.
The text, charts, diagrams and code on this site belong to Quantify Environmental Ltd. unless credited otherwise. You may not republish this material wholesale as your own, and you may not scrape it to train a product that competes with ours. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners and appear here with permission or as a factual reference.
Do not attempt to break, overload or work around the site’s systems. There is nothing interesting behind them: this is a static site with one form endpoint.
2 · The calculators and the Savings Estimator
Every result these tools produce is an estimate, computed from published benchmark constants and the numbers you enter. It is not a quote, not a guarantee, and not an engineering assessment.
- The constants and their sources are printed beside every result. They change over time; we update them, and you should confirm anything you plan to budget against.
- A tool that depends on a constant we have not verified does not ship with a placeholder — it says it is not ready yet, and stays dark until the constant is confirmed.
- Your inputs are your own. The arithmetic is conservative, and the promise under every result is the same: your number comes from your own meters.
What the tools are for: getting to a defensible order of magnitude before you spend anybody’s time. What they are not for: replacing a measurement.
3 · The grants and funding library
Amounts, deadlines and eligibility in the grants library are quoted from the official source, never interpreted, and each entry carries the date it was retrieved from that source.
Program details change. Always confirm with the provider before budgeting. Where an official page and this site disagree, the official page is right — and we would like to hear about it at info@quantifyenv.com.
We are not affiliated with any program listed, we receive nothing for listing them, and we are not grant writers. Entries that have not been re-checked within 90 days are badged as such rather than quietly left in place.
4 · The demo dashboard
The dashboard at /demo/ is fictional. The plant, the equipment, the readings and every figure on it are dummy data generated from a seeded pseudo-random number generator so that the same page renders the same numbers every time.
It is not a real client system, it is not a representation of any client’s results, and no client data appears on this website in any form.
5 · Case studies and published figures
Case studies marked illustrative are representative scenarios. They carry a ribbon saying so, they name no client, they show no logo, and they are never presented as a measured client result.
Named results are published with the client’s permission and print their source. A result reflects one plant, one process and one period; your plant is not that plant, and we will not pretend otherwise when we quote you.
Testimonials are quoted from the person named. Where we do not have a quote, we show no quote — an empty space beats an invented sentence.
6 · Liability, governing law and changes
This site is provided as it is. We take care to keep it accurate, but we do not warrant that every figure on it is current or complete, and we are not liable for a decision taken on the strength of an estimate, a benchmark or a program listing published here. Decisions that cost money deserve measurement — which is, more or less, the entire argument of this website.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here changes the terms of a signed agreement between Quantify Environmental and a client. Where a client agreement and this page conflict, the agreement wins.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. We may update them; the current version is the one on this page, dated above.
